here's what happened: it doesn't matter how much anyone liked watching, they got canceled. cause fewer people were watching. they went out with a whimper because they didn't care anymore: about the fans, the story, or the franchise. at the end of the day, if telling a good story and entertaining people were what it took to stay on TV, we'd be getting new episodes of Firefly and Arrested Development.
i'm a realist, making 9 million people happy isn't statistically feasible. if you're handing out $50 bills, someone will be pissed they didn't get $100.
