Just back from Korea (coincidentally) to read all about the revelation that Chinese astronauts have been eating dog meat to keep themselves in optimum condition while in orbit.
As my colleague Malcolm Moore reports today , the dog meat from Huajiang county in Guangdong, is supposed to be better for you even than ginseng.
Personally, I wouldn’t knowingly eat dog meat – though I suspect I have – which I accept is probably more than slightly irrational since I eat sheep, pigs, goats and cows perfectly happily. But a dog is a dog, after all.
However the news of the gravity-free dog meat feasts has attracted the opprobrium of animals rights groups who have been lobbying in increasingly strident terms in recent years against the consumption of dog meat in China – and with some success.
Бытует суждение, что животные забирают на себя проблемы или болезни своих хозяев, и даже бывает ценой своей жизни. А коты обладают умением еще и врачевать. Я люблю собак, но завести собаку последние года не могу. Попросту не смогу уделять ей необходимое внимание.
Вот я и завела кошку.. или кошка меня Котенка я принесла к бабушке. Не подумайте, что я добра душа подкинула котенка. Я весьма часто бываю у бабушки, даже более правильно сказать, что живу на 2 дома. Изначально бабка восторга не испытала, потом обвыклась.. но интересы кошки ущемляла, выгоняла ее на ночь с комнаты.. и этак было ровно до этого января..
